An older smaller vessel used by the freedom fighters from the Bajoran Occupation. A two occupant craft with light armaments meant for short flights.
The Captain's Yacht while mentioned since the The Next Generation schematics and various technology books had never been featured in Star Trek. Then came "Insurrection" featuring the vessel for the first time on screen, though only for a few seconds. The Yacht's primary purpose was the Captain's personal transport which is more luxurious and spacious accommodations versus a shuttle.
Similar to the shuttles the yacht does how offensive and defensive capabilities.
The Yacht being larger than the standard shuttle is moored to the underside of the saucer section of the main ship.

Review:
Let's start with the negative aspects of these ships. While both of these are aren't full fledged ships like the rest of the volumes, It's curious these two were not added to the separate sets of shuttles that Eaglemoss offers. Especially the scale that was used, what comes through is the dullness of the finish. There are also some noticeable seam lines as well, but that is the standard with these releases. One problem exists with the Yacht's accuracy. The nacelle struts should be lower to where the nacelles are ventral, they're not. There has been one previous incarnation of this ship and that came from Playmates This is also wrong. While not a huge deal, it's still not accurate. Now what's good about these ships?
Positively amazing! I don't really care for the Raider, but Eaglemoss really upped the painted details. The ship appeared on TV for a few minutes and not up close, so the texture on the hull as well as the colors of the engine and weapon bits are a nice touch. The seam line for the canopy is included and accented slightly placing a cue that this part would open (it doesn't).
Same with the Yacht. It appeared in the movie in a non-static scene so all audience could really see was the ship detaching from its mooring and flying off. The ventral and dorsal views emphasize a lot of texture, visually it's far from boring.
I should note these two ships are not to scale to one another.
The Raider only allows for two, whereas the yacht easily fits an entourage of 8.
Grade: A
Given the negative aspects of this collection from day 1, and various hit/misses of releasing virtually every starship to grace the Star Trek universe. These two ships are a very good incarnation of their on-screen counterparts. While the yacht is not 100% accurate, it's not a dismal from anyone's collection.
